Halloween Pop Up Card Workshop
Details
Create a spooky Halloween scene that comes to life when you open the card! Kids will explore the concept of silhouette as they create a haunted house, bats, ghosts, and a glowing moon. They’ll also learn the basics of pop-up paper engineering, discovering how simple cuts and folds can transform a flat sheet of paper into a 3D scene. Each child can add their own spooky characters and details to make the card unique.
Instructor: Natalia Handoga is a professional illustrator and graphic designer who creates posters and illustrations for movies, theater, and music. In her workshops, she goes “beyond the brush,” introducing kids to techniques such as metal embossing, quilling, printmaking, and paper construction. She often uses everyday materials like pasta, seeds, buttons, corks, and foil to show children creative possibilities in ordinary things. They don’t just draw - they also cut, tear, crumple, twist, scratch, print, build, and experiment.
Ages: 8-14
